LDG has adopted an Organisation, Management and Control Model, pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, which consists of a set of principles and protocols that regulate and define the company structure and the management of its sensitive processes.
This Model stems from and constitutes the company's values, implementing the process of spreading a corporate culture based on fairness, transparency and legality.
Legislative Decree 231/2001 introduced into Italian law the administrative liability of companies for offences committed by directors, managers and employees in the interest or for the benefit of the company itself. The 231 Organisational Model is divided into two parts:
Logistica del Golfo has drafted and adopted its own Code of Ethics, which forms part of its 231 Organisational Model, in order to reinforce the dissemination of its principles, corporate culture and rules of conduct that form the basis of its relations with all stakeholders (shareholders, employees, customers, suppliers, public administration, etc.). This Code of Ethics expresses the company's ethical commitments, duties and responsibilities towards its stakeholders and anyone operating in its name and on its behalf, in accordance with the legitimate interests of shareholders, employees, customers, all economic and social partners and the communities in which the company operates: operating correctly, avoiding conflicts of interest, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of communications, and protecting assets and confidential information. It also calls for compliance with laws, standards, internal policies and procedures, and data protection.
Logistica del Golfo has appointed a Supervisory Body (SB) which has been granted independent powers to control and monitor the implementation of and compliance with the rules defined by the Model and the Code of Ethics.
The Supervisory Body can be contacted by sending a report, by company personnel and third parties in a confidential manner and with a guarantee of absolute confidentiality, through the dedicated IT platform.
With a view to continuous improvement and in line with its stated approach to sustainability, LDG has decided to undergo assessment by EcoVadis, a globally recognised ESG rating agency known for its reliable corporate sustainability assessments.
